Manager - Packaging & Dispatching

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manager - Packaging & Dispatching for Julwania (Barwani district), Madhya Pradesh location to oversee and optimize packaging operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards. The role involves managing packaging development, materials, processes,and vendor coordination while maintaining cost-effectiveness and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end packaging operations for products, ensuring timely execution.
• Develop, evaluate, and improve packaging materials, designs, and processes.
• Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure packaging complies with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Conduct trials for new packaging materials and designs.
• Optimize packaging costs without compromising quality and performance.
• Handle vendor development, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
• Troubleshoot packaging-related issues in production and recommend solutions.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and packaging specifications.
• Drive initiatives for sustainable and eco-friendly packaging solutions.
• Monitor inventory of packaging materials and minimize wastage.
• Ensure proper labeling, barcoding, and compliance with statutory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Technology / Engineering / Science or related field.
• 8-15 years of experience in packaging (Agro, FMCG, pharma, food, or manufacturing industries preferred).

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of packaging materials (plastics, paper, glass, metal, containers, etc.)
• Understanding of packaging machinery and processes
• Cost optimization and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (like labeling and safety norms)
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Project management and coordination abilities
• Familiarity with sustainability practices in packaging
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in packaging development and innovation
